The Carter Taylor Civil Engineering team understand our responsibility to act with trust and integrity, and to represent our industry as ethically, environmentally conscious, and by conducting ourselves as responsibly as possible.

Health, safety, quality, and environmental considerations are foundational elements of our day-to-day civil engineering operations.

We consistently monitor specific key performance indicators to measure our progress and ensure best practice is actioned and implemented from the start.

We have developed a robust Health and Safety policy and our quality management system were both born from our belief that the health, safety, and welfare of our stakeholders is paramount. Our quality management system ensures we meet the current legislation, codes of practice, and safety guidance at all times.

We pride ourselves in placing great emphasis on implementing safe systems of work, using modern safer plant and equipment, and making sure our workforce is trained and informed of the latest health and safety guidance.

Our colleagues are individually assessed to establish their specific training requirements, and each employee is provided with a specific training programme to meet their needs. As a bare minimum, all operatives are CSCS registered, and all supervisors are SMSTS or SSSTS qualified.

We are proud to hold Elite level CHAS accreditation which meets the common assessment standard.
